Hello, I’m Sarah,
collagist, workshop facilitator, and founder of Collé.

My work centres on slowing down through collage, bookmaking, and paper based making. I design accessible, process led workshops that support people in finding calm, inner strength, and joyful expression in a busy world.

Professional Training and Background

I bring together creative practice, design, and embodied wellbeing to guide my workshops.

  • BA First Class Hons in Graphic Design

  • MA Distinction in Visual Communication

  • Level 3 Personal Training

  • 200hr Yoga Teacher Training

  • Artist in Residence, Solent University, Southampton, April 2025 to April 2026

These experiences shape the way I lead Collé workshops, making them grounding, spacious, and welcoming for everyone.

  • "You don’t have to hurry. You don’t have to sparkle. You don’t have to be anybody but yourself.”

    Virginia Woolf

  • "Slowly Is the fastest way to get to where you want to be."

    André De Shields

  • "Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you."

    Anne Lamott

  • "Play is the highest form of research."

    Albert Einstein

  • "The whole culture is telling you to hurry, while the art tells you to take your time. Always listen to the art."

    Junot Díaz

Research, Features & Interviews

These selections showcase my creative practice, research, and reflections. They provide insight into my approach, values, and experiments in collage, visual storytelling, and mindful creative making.

2025 Interview with The Design Kids:
I discuss my creative practice and the values and experiences that shape my style.

2024 Master of Arts Visual Communication: Emotional Intimacy & Mixed Media Collage Report:
A piece of academic research in which I examined how collage can support self reflection, emotional expression, and personal transformation.

Collage Art & Commissions

Projects below showcase some of my commissioned work for personal and commercial clients.

My personal collage work often uses vintage magazines and publications from the 1930s to the 1960s.

I am curious about making old things new, working from a place of stillness, and exploring the subtle shifts of perspective that emerge when fragments of time are juxtaposed.

My practice reflects a primal need to make connections and find meaning through mindful making.
